Hi,

I've successfully upgraded the board to version 3.0 this morning. Took quite a bit longer than I had expected due to some issues with the upgrade process, but it's all taken care of.

There's quite a bit of new stuff in this version, and frankly I don't know what it all is either

So, I'll keep a list here. If you find anything that isn't on this list, let me know and I'll add it.

New features:
- updated user profile pages
- user blogs, option to have a personal blog
- user calendars, option to have a personal calendar
- user options on posts, allow you to do a couple of user specific things (e.g. start a PT, view their profile, etc)
- user and post rating, allows you to rate a post / user
- updates to the My Fusion tab
- statistics in admin area greatly improved

I have recently added a Photo Gallery, however... I was unable to get the integration going.

So, I'm afraid that if you want to post photos or comments, you'll have to create another account.

I'll be adding a Thai360 theme soon and update the menu, but in the meantime feel free to start using it.

Hi,

During the daily backup the site ran into some problems, more specifically it ran out of disk space when trying to zip up the database, which has grown to 2.1Gb.

Jigger has moved some files around and as you can see we are back up and running again. We'll try sorting out a larger harddisk to prevent this happening in the future.

Was just checking out the new site statistics in the admin area and noticed that we were very close to 600,000 posts. Waited a little and this post makes 600,001

We've updated the site to the latest version (2.2). I'm still working on putting our customizations back, which should be done by the end of today.

For those interested in what has changed, here's a list (I removed all the admin-only stuff):

Features added, v2.1:

* One click to mark a forum read
* Users can block PTs except from admins/mods
* Added profile option to ignore messages when people leave a private topic
* Added page remembering to last search link feature
* Added forum specific skins option
* Added forum topic expiration (per forum based)
* Added Private topic expiration (permission based)
* Added PT specific attachments directory
* Added a Forum Ad, the ability to place an ad (or other HTML) after the first post on the page
* Added the permission based ability to add a user into an existing private topic.
* Added a "Back to Search" link for easy return to search results if you're viewing a topic as a result of a search.
* Added the display of the username color and status flag on the list of topics, list of search results and list of private topics.
* Added full post display to recent activity list
* Added syntax highlighting for code blocks (with xhtml correcting for php < 5.0.0)
* Included smallscreen PDA templates and the ability to switch to different template sets.

Features Added, v2.2:

* Reworked the search results to allow a nicer preview and more logical layout
* Reworked the recent posts/topics system
* Completed the user search ability to limit by email opt in, post count, registered date.
* Added the ability to switch from a quick reply to a full reply
* Added the ability to sort a forum by Subject.
* Added a user "attitude" to help indicate a user's mood. It's a permission based feature.
* Split the shoutbox permissions to "Can see" and "Can Post"
* Added a permission for seeing ages and seeing years members were born
* Seperated Bots from Visitors on online page.
* Allowed for clickable Calendar on Portal Page.
* Added a /pda directory which when you hit this link, if the smallscreen templates are enabled, it'll switch you to the smallscreen templates for the length of your session.
