[Moderator]

CLASSIFIEDS is a place for individuals to list their services or goods for sale or wanted. Other non-commercial placements such as would be found in a respectable newspaper will be considered also, but please clear them with a forum moderator first. We are unable to accept 'lonely hearts'/'relationship wanted' posts at this time however.

 

Employment wanted or jobs offered may be posted here as well, but you'd likely get a better response by posting in the 'Career/Finances' forum. Do not post your listing to both forums.

 

CLASSIFIEDS should not be used by businesses or commercial posters to attract custom. Please contact the board Administrator, KhunSanuk, for display advertising rates instead. Click on his name on the 'Main Index' page and you'll be taken to his profile; you may send him an e-mail or Private Message from there.

 

The usual message board Rules apply; please review them by clicking that link at upper left.

 

A few other guidelines also pertain here:

 

1) Please describe your item(s) fully and consider including a good list of features, how long you've had the item and its condition as well as an asking price or 'make offer' statement and a 'must sell by' date, if any. Be thorough and reasonable in your descriptions and your placement will get a better response.

 

2) Use all the normal cautions when meeting or dealing with a buyer or seller who you don't know. Consider meeting first in a public place if the item is portable. Get references, if possible, before contracting for any services.

 

3) Buyers and sellers are welcome to use this space to ask questions and give answers about listed items and to provide contact information. But please remember that this board is open to everyone and read by thousands daily. You may want to send your more sensitive information -- real name, phone number or address -- by Private Message or e-mail. Do not divulge anyone else's information.

 

4) This is a place for buyers and sellers to get together, not for third-party reviews of items offered. If you have comments about a particular item you see mentioned here, please write a product review and post it to the relevant forum: 'Technology', 'Food', etc. You may add a link to that post here if you wish.

 

5) Posts which offer to buy or sell any illegal item -- including drugs, weapons, sexual services, stolen goods, extraordinary visa or passport services or other contraband -- will be immediately deleted and recommendation will be made to the board Administrator that the poster's account be closed. No warning will be given. If you are unsure if your item will be permitted, inquire of a forum moderator before posting. [see next]

 

6) If you have concerns about any item listed here, please notify your forum moderator. You can contact us by Private Message or bring a particular post to our attention by clicking the 'Notify Moderator' link [the rightmost icon] in the 'Post Extras' area beneath the post that troubles you.
